The 13th International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show, one of the most significant events for the professionals of the yachting business and a platform for presentation of new branch developments and a meeting place for business and professional communication, will be held March 5 through 9, 2020 in Crocus Expo. The organizer of the show is Crocus Expo which ranks near the top among expo venues of Russia and Eastern Europe.

At Moscow Boat Show is annually presented everything to make life on water better, more enjoyable, easier, safer and more fun: a large range of boats, accessories and equipment for boats and crews. Theres something for everybody who enjoys the life at sea boat owners, boat enthusiasts, families, fishermen, water lovers and curious beginners. In the course of more than 10 years the exhibition has achieved the status of a significant for the industry event, having become the annual platform for business meetings, constructive communication, conclusion of favorable contracts, exchange of experience and awareness of the latest developments.

EXPOSITION

Top players of the market will traditionally participate in the project: Prestige Yachts, Smart Yachts, Ultraboats, Velvette Marine, West Nautical, Mercury, M-Power, HARMAN and others.

More than 150 companies from different parts of the world will gather on the exposition comprising more than 17 800 sq m: Austria, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Italy, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, the Republic of Korea, the USA, Tunisia, Turkey, Croatia, and Sweden. Domestic developments will be demonstrated by manufacturers and distributors from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Izhevsk, Kazan, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saratov, Sevastopol, Yaroslavl and other cities of the Russian Federation.

Structured to aid ship owners and operators optimize the performance of their fleets, Moscow Boat Show is an important meeting place for the industry professionals which brings together representatives from all sectors. It creates a forum where buyers and sellers can gather under one roof to conduct business and enhance industry knowledge, to build and promote a certain image in order to facilitate future agreements. In particular, the exhibition adds value in terms of technology leadership and the building of complex ship types, benefitting all stakeholders by showcasing innovative technology and advanced shipbuilding systems.

A NUMBER OF BRIGHT PREMIERES FOR THE MOSCOW BOAT SHOW 2020 GUESTS

Galeon 340 Fly flybridge cruiser will become the highlight of Smart Yachts stand at Moscow Boat Show in 2020. The Galeon 340 Fly means exceptional design and one of the most spacious interiors in this segment. Expert engineering and Galeons years of experience have come together to produce a yacht designed to provide the greatest possible independence on all three decks.

West Nautical will for the first time in Russia present Fairline F-Line 33 the first model in F-line family, a beautifully sculptured day boat which worldwide debut took place in September 2019 at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Fishleader will present in Russia Anytec A27C, a power boat of a new model, combining elegant design, unparalleled comfort and fantastic performance, forming a unique whole that gives a boat quite unlike anything ones ever experienced before.

Forward company, other participant of the Moscow Boat Show, will display their novelty ISLAND BOAT trailer pontoon. A pontoon boat is a flattish boat that relies on floats to remain buoyant. These pontoons contain a lot of reserve buoyancy and allow designers to create massive deck plans fitted with all sorts of accommodations. The transformer has been developed by the Forward company in cooperation with Bogema Auto.

Webasto Rus, the Russian subsidiary of Webasto Group, actively expands its positions at the dynamically developing market of Russia. In particular the company is a loyal participant of profile exhibitions. Webasto Rus will display a range of vessel liquid and air autonomous heaters, and also autonomous air conditioners and sliding panels specially designed for vessels, including a number of novelties.

HARMAN will demonstrate a new marine JBL series: acoustic systems, subwoofers, amplifiers and other equipment for installation and use on a ship or in any open vehicle.

NEW SECTION OF THE SHOW FISHING

In 2020 the Moscow Boat Show will be supplemented by innovations of the fishing industry and goods of tourist purpose. The visitors will have an opportunity to test gear, bait, outfit and get recommendations of authoritative specialists on peculiarities of application of different types of equipment, fishing techniques and other professional lifehacks for fishing.

RUSSIAN PARTICIPANTS

National producers have been actively entering the water transport market for more than a year and represent decent, competitive products. Moscow Boat Show provides Russian companies with a unique chance to draw attention to their products. Among them are Slider, Berkut-Marine, ENIGMA shipyard, SPEV Company, ASCLAS Production Company, Northern Shipbuilding Company, Popilov Yachts and many others.

For example, in 2020 Lodka Market will display Gladiator Russian brand boats, a manufacturer of boats and boat motors made of high quality materials at own plant Weihai BS Marine Co. Ltd. (Weihai, PRC).

YACHTING CHARTER

A special promo zone for charter operators providing services in different countries of the world will be organized within the frames of the Moscow Boat Show 13th edition. Anyone will have an opportunity to choose their direction and go on a fascinating trip through the water spaces with the help of specialists from Egocharter, NausYs, Stadler Yachting, Nomicos Yachts and others.

West Istanbul Marina is also among exhibitors of the Moscow Boat Show 2020. It is located on the West coast of Istanbul, the most beautiful and historical city in the world that unites two continents and various cultures. West Istanbul Marina welcomes yachts of all shapes and sizes. It is not only a mooring place but also a comfortable place for pleasant leisure a huge complex where one can benefit from fitness&spa, sport facilities, restaurants, coffee places, boutiques, beach club, hotel, yacht club and sailing&water sports club.

BUSINESS PROGRAM

A tight program of exhibition-related events will enable you to obtain comprehensive information on how to organize efficient and profitable business within a company in line with all the requirements of modern economy. The Moscow Boat Show organizers, on their part, will spare no effort to make their guests work comfortable and successful. A variety of professional seminars, lectures, contests, meetings with representatives of authorities, professional networking and workshops will become another centre of attraction for key audience and an interesting source of publications in specialized and business press.

March 5, on the opening day of the show, a number of master classes Talks about Yachting: How to start sailing? What are training programs? with participation of members of the Yachting Federation of the Moscow region presidium, famous yachtsmen and coaches will be held.

Round table talks of the Russian Yachting Federation (VFPS) will be held the same day. It will be a questions-and-answers session which invites everybody to join the talks.

On the same day there will be a round table of the All-Russian Sailing Federation (VFPS) Key Aspects and Prospects for the Import Substitution in the Sailing Industry Development.

March, the 6th, Vladimir Markin, Deputy Director on Investments and FGBU Development, will tell about best practices of on-water projects and priority investment projects in the Moscow Canal basin.

Ayta Luzguina, Project Director of Interium digital agency, will demonstrate how to promote goods for sailing sport: boats (yachts), clothes, equipment and spare parts. Ayta will highlight the main aspects of promotion, development of communication strategy for brands and individual categories, ways of their implementation and evaluation of efficiency.

Military historical club SOM (Naval Sailors Combined Detachment) will arrange a special exposition devoted to the II World War (the Great Patriotic War in Russia): the uniform and equipment of naval sailors of the IIWW period, models of weapons and historical exhibits brought from expeditions to battlefields. Club members will tell about War events, as well as about our days events reconstructions and interactive platforms which are being held in Russia and abroad. The visitors will be able to try on the naval sailors uniform and take pictures with historical weapons.

Albert Nazarov, member of Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), fellow of Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), a Chartered Engineer (UK), a member of Associations of Designers of Russia (ADR) and Albatross Marine Design Director, will tell about the functional design of small water crafts where designing is an art aiming to develop functional outcomes that work within a pleasing appearance.

On March 8 will be held round table talks with participation of the State Inspectorate for Small Size Vessels (GIMS) and the Ministry of Emergency Situations representatives Issues of Preparation for Navigation 2020.

March 9, the Yachting Federation of the Moscow region will present the Maritime Art Club projects.

The Moscow Boat Show is a great event for all water lovers, fishermen, curious beginners and yachting branch professionals. The exhibition is announcing the Spring time to get back in the water and simultaneously creates a forum where buyers and sellers can gather under one roof to conduct business and enhance industry knowledge.
