Yacht Owners Club

Yacht Owners Club, an online community for yacht and boat owners, was founded in 2014. Vladimir Oleinikov, an experienced yachtsman, initiated foundation of the club aiming to promote and develop sailing sports and to organize regattas of international level.

Organized and run by the membership, Yacht Clubs became a place to promote the sport of sailboat racing and cruising, as well as provide a meeting place for the particular social community. The membership is a mixture of people with specific recreational affinities. Generally, the members include those who sail as crew for cruising or racing, as well as boat owners. Also it is up to the members decide on the objectives of the club to satisfy the membership and to attract other like-minded individuals.

Yacht Owners Club activity features three directions:

Partisan of Yachting – organization and holding of regattas of international level.

Partisan of Yachting is an official regatta featured in the timetable of the Turkish Federation of Sailing Sports. The regatta attracts teams who are passionate about yacht racing. Consistency across what will be a wide range of weather conditions, maintaining boat handling & speed are crucial. Consistency on an ever changing race track is demanding – and against an impressive calibre of sailors. Teams feature many of Russia’s elite sailors - from the world of match racing, Olympic sailing, Volvo Ocean race and many of the world’s premier yachting events.

Any crew – either on their own or rented yachts with valid IRC-certificate – may participate. The Regatta participants are both professionals (yacht owners / skippers with their crews) and amateurs. The Partisan of Yachting is a regatta with impressive representation of yachtsmen, including prize holders of European and World championships, members of the Russian Olympic Team, yacht-masters. Most of them participate as skippers and tactics. Andrey Arbuzov, Eugeny Nikiforov, Maxim Taranov, Vlas Kadetov, Igor Bukovsky, Timofey Zhbankov, are among the most decorated athletes.

Partisan Racing – organization of trips as a part of the club to international regattas to various parts of the world (Asia – Phuket Kings Cup; Europe – Marmaris Race Week and others). Participation in the racings allows combining business with pleasure – explore different countries with provided opportunity to improve skills and gain professionalism.
