International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show 2024
The 17th International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show, one of the most significant events for yacht business professionals and outdoor activity enthusiasts, was held February 29 through March 3 at Crocus Expo. The organizer of the event is Crocus Expo, the expo venue which ranks at the top among exhibition centers of Russia and Eastern Europe.
Moscow Boat Show demonstrated again its relevance and demand. One had an opportunity to find everything to make life on water better, more enjoyable, easier, safer and more fun. More than 18 000 visitors attended the Moscow Boat Show including industry professionals, fans of motor watercrafts, as well as fans of active outing and water sports during 4 days of the event.
EXHIBITORS
More than 200 exhibitors displayed their products and services within the exposition comprising 13 000 square meters.
National developments were demonstrated by companies from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Samara, Chukotka, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Kemerovo, Tula, Tver, Kostroma and other cities of Russia.
Foreign exhibitors were represented by companies from Turkey, China and Indonesia.
Visitors could obtain knowledge about crafts, equipment and related services from such key market players as Prestige, Velhod, Formarin, Formula 7, Aluminakraft, Hidea, ONER, Moreman, Searene Yachts, Swift Chaser, Avanguardia Nautica, Spev, Aleut and other companies.
Velhod club presented for the first time their Phoenix 700 Cabin boat, mobile, elegant and multifunctional.
Avanguardia Nautica shipyard, a manufacturer of small vessels made of composite materials, demonstrated the Shadow boat of its own production.
Moreman presented Ranieri Shadow 19 boat (a “sundeck” for relaxing short cruises) which has been manufactured by Ranieri International Italian shipyard since 2013.
SEARENE YACHTS shipyard founded in 2020 by a team of engineers demonstrated a boat which provides more opportunities.
An innovative patented Swift Chaser boat was presented at the stand of the Asklas production company.
Boat engines from -Power Group, HIDEA, Formula 7, companies specializing on engines, were displayed at the exposition.
Also, windscreens, tents and arcs were presented at the Lodka 44 stand, latest products from Mastervolt, Blue Sea, Ratio Electric, Vetus were demonstrated at the Aquamarine TH stand.
Custom jet skis of their own production were showcased at the ZAXJET stand for the first time.
2 the most popular boats from NorthSilver manufacturer with a quite interesting configuration were displayed by Rybanutye.rf. There was also an opportunity to communicate with the founder of the company, ask any questions including technical ones and purchase special care chemicals for boats.
FLYING FISH, a unique Russian brand in marine yachting style, presented their collection of interior items, textiles, ceramics, as well as clothing and hermo accessories for yachtsmen. The FLYING FISH collection relies on convenience, style, aesthetics and quality, which has been appreciated more than once not only by discerning lovers of sea outings, but also by yachting professionals.
Equipment and components were available at stands of such companies as ITS (underwater lights); Polymer Group (buoys and cranes); Baltic Boats Company (deck covering); LitJet, Titanat and Aspil Energy (batteries).
Department of small shipbuilding of the military-industrial holding Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant exhibited at the show and what’s more found a new partner. Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant and Hidea Russia exchanged contacts and agreed on a fruitful cooperation in the field of dealership of Hidea boat motors.
BUSINESS PROGRAM
Structured to aid ship owners and operators optimize the performance of their fleets, Moscow Boat Show became again an important meeting place for the industry professionals which brought together representatives from all sectors. It created a forum where buyers and sellers could gather under one roof to conduct business and improve industry knowledge, to build and promote a certain image in order to facilitate future agreements.
Irina Smorygo, the director, producer and business coach, spoke within the frames of the business program on the topic How to Attract Real Customers through YouTube. Actual Changes.
A meeting with Pavel Minaev, a yachting captain, was of special interest for the guests of the show. Pavel told about his project and shared the first results of his project. Now Pavel is building a mini-yacht of the new Globe 580 class, only 5.8 meters long. In the fall of 2024 he plans to race solo across Atlantic in this class and then participate in the first solo round-the-world race in Mini Globe Race 2025 mini yachts.
It is worth noting among other events the round table on the topic Development of Student Sailing organized by the Student Sailing League. Seminar On the Yacht - to the North, exciting trips, severe conditions and boundless romance for those whom the sea calls, was held March 2 within the frames of the business program.
Egor Staroverov, an ethnographer, researcher of Pomeranian culture, told about traditional northern shipbuilding, about his project Expeditionary Kovda carbos and how a people's boat could fully take on the function of a yacht and expeditionary vessel.
Ivan Morozov, an experienced skipper, professional sailor and popularizer of yachting, told about Lake Ladoga, the prospects for the development of sailing tourism and the problems of depth chart navigation in Ladoga skerries using an autonomous bathymetric drone boat and compiling the Pilot Book Ladoga.
Evgeny Shkaruba, a captain and head of the Sea Practices club, who went around the world on the Juliet yacht, head of the Pomeranian Shipbuilding Partnership shipyard, told about the Mangazey Sea Passage expedition to Siberia and the construction of an expeditionary schooner in Arkhangelsk.
At the end of each speech there was a discussion where everyone could ask questions to the speakers.
We pride our self on being a family show, continually striving to grow and offer new and exciting elements to our patrons. A dense family oriented interactive program was held during all days of the show in a specially equipped pool located directly in the exhibition hall. The Moscow Boat Show visitors traditionally enjoyed a number of entertainment events on the water this year. The water activities included children's races on sailing yachts; SUP, fitness rafts, aqua zorb and packraft classes, a competition on radio-controlled yachts. Everybody is invited to participate in the competition.
The pool became a center of attraction for the visitors of the exhibition due to a visual demonstration of water sports equipment. It is worth noting that the pool area this year had increased significantly compared to last year.

The 17th International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show, one of the most significant events for yacht business professionals and outdoor activity enthusiasts, will be held February 29 through March 3 at Crocus Expo.
The main goal of the event is to present new achievements and developments of the industry, promote water tourism, motivate the audience to engage in yachting, business meetings and professional networking, communication between market participants and potential consumers.
The spring edition of the exhibition is the constant start of the new season: participants get the opportunity to profitably demonstrate their products and assess their demand in the market, determine promising sales channels and find new customers, hold many direct negotiations and conclude profitable contracts in a short time.
According to statistics the annual number of visitors to the exhibition exceeds 12 000 people.

For many foreign manufacturers and distributors Moscow Boat Show opens up new entries to the Russian market: more and more companies from Turkey and China take part in the exhibition appreciating its prospects.

The 16th International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show, one of the most significant events for the professionals of the yachting business and a platform for presentation of new branch developments and a meeting place for business and professional communication, was held March 2 through 5, 2023. More than 12 000 visitors attended the show including industry professionals, fans of motor watercrafts, as well as fans of active and water sports during 4 days of the event.
EXHIBITORS
This year, watercrafts were presented both by the already proven top manufacturers of motor watercrafts, accessories and equipment, and by the companies that were gaining popularity. A distinctive feature of the Moscow Boat Show 2023 was a large number of new Russian manufacturers.
Such companies as Buoy.ru, Botsman24, Fabrika Lodok, Hidea, Parsun, iAqua, Swift Chaser, Marine rocket, Titanat, SAVA HIGH-TECH, Victory boats, Siberia, Litjet, MEGAPASCAL, Formarin and Aquasprint, Prestige, SLIDER Boat, SPEV, Apparelboats, 2, Alumcraft, Silverboats, Libhof, Chernov Audio and many others presented their products and services.
EXPOSITION
Exhibitors demonstrated combo and aluminum boats and boats for active outing on water, hunting, fishing and travel, motors and batteries, air compressors, necessary attributes necessary attributes for vessel mooring and berthing, various means for servicing equipment and other essential goods in the field of water transport.
The SM 850 boat for outing on water and travel of any format from SeaMoone should be specially noted among other novelties since it had been produces especially for the show. Thanks to the comfortable conditions created by the designers, everyone on board would feel completely safe despite the weather conditions and time spent on board. The Swift Chaser Samara shipyard brought to the exhibition the long awaited new model Swift Chaser 800 - an 8-meter next-generation boat with a durable aluminum body.
Anybody had an opportunity to communicate with famous fishing sportsmen and explore the complete FL-70 boat, which had been built for Andrei Petertsov specifically for the competition season of 2023 at the Fabrika Lodok stand.
Apparelboats presented self-propelled gliding aluminum ramp-type boats. 5 models ranging in length from 7 to 14 meters produced by the company can be used not only in the areas of tourism and transport services, but also to ensure the safety and shipping monitoring in the areas of public services in the most remote places of civilization. Also well known motorboats from Russian shipyards NorthSilver, Berkut, Slider, Albakore, Phoenix, and Windboat were displayed within the frames of the Moscow Boat Show 2023.
Runduk Racing, the organizer of a series of its own Runduk Cup regattas in virtual and real space, as well as the sponsor of children's regattas and the Runduk Racing Kids team, presented two 69F monohull foilers for the first time in Russia. There are only 35 such foilers available in the world. The guests of the exhibition had a unique opportunity not only to see the boats themselves live, but also to communicate with the team of yachtsmen.
Owners and manufacturers of equipment got acquainted with comprehensive solutions in the field of vessels maintenance and repair, the developments of new industrial equipment, the implementation of projects for the construction of water transport from NPO Deep Lakes, Europolus, the Design Bureau of the Academy of Sciences Marine Consulting (KB ANMK) together with Albatross Marine Design (AMD) and Botsman24.
BUSINESS INTERACTIVE PROGRAM
A versatile business program, which included lectures by qualified experts on various topics of the industry, expected visitors of the International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show 2023.
Key events of the business program:
Ilya Bushtukhin, a marine lawyer and yacht manager, made the presentation on the topic Lack of Comprehensive Legal Regulation of the industry as an Obstacle to the Development of Yachting in Russia. The main legal aspects of promoting the interests of yachtsmen were considered within the frames of the presentation.
Polina Belova, a judge of sailing regattas, gave lecture on the topic Popularization of Sailing in Russia and Abroad: Lake Onega, yachting in Moscow and the Mediterranean Sea. She covered issues related to tendencies of water sports industry development.
The second day of the business program was entirely dedicated to design. Leading shipbuilding engineers and industrial designers told about various aspects in the field of shipbuilding, prepared specifically for the guests of the exhibition. Gleb Vizel, Albert Nazarov and Anna Goncharova covered the following topics: Industrial Design Prospects for the Yachting Industry; Small Shipbuilding: design, norms, accident rate; Modern Interiors. New materials. New technologies.
The report on the topic Touristic Rivers Recovery, made by Sergey Gordleev, Head of the Department of Scientific Research and Innovation Activities of the FSBEI HE VGUVT, was of special interest for the attendees of the business program.
The program of interactive events held within the frames of the Moscow Boat Show in a special pool attracted a lot of young visitors of the show. Everyone had an opportunity to take part in the events under the mentorship of experienced instructors, to try their hand at SUP surfing both on the pool water and on land - on a stylish designer SUP rowing machine. They experienced riding kayaks, canoe, fishing boats and pack rafting and training courses on races on Optimist class yachts for children.
Moscow Boat Show once again confirmed the status of one of the key industry events and became a place where young brands were able to assert themselves, and well-known manufacturers demonstrated their new developments. The development of the industry in the context of import substitution and the great interest of visitors shown to Russian manufacturers will undoubtedly become an incentive for the participation of more companies from Russia in 2024.

A large scale business program has been prepared for the visitors of the Moscow Boat Show 2022, which features lectures by professional yachtsmen, sportsmen, journalists and other honored experts.
On March 4 at 14:00 Sergey Gordleev, Head of the Department of Scientific Research and Innovation, will make a presentation on the topic Civil (small) Fleet and Infrastructure. Foresight Thinking.
Besides a round table is planned March 4 at 16:00on the topic New Legislation on Small Vessels. Digitalization of State Services for Boatmasters Certification, Vessels Inspection and State Registration. The Sailing Academy training center will hold the Open Hour on March 5 at 11:00, dedicated to the issue of becoming a skipper and helmsman as well as taking the first steps in charter.

The 14th International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show was successfully held in Moscow March 4 through 7, 2021. The organizer of the event is Crocus Expo, the expo venue which ranks at the top among exhibition centers of Russia and Eastern Europe. It was the first to hold a national exhibition of the profile thus declaring the new yachting season to be opened.
Moscow Boat Show demonstrated again its relevance and demand among yacht business professionals and water enthusiasts - more than 14,000 people got acquainted with the exhibition.
127 companies from Russia and foreign countries namely Bulgaria, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Russia, USA, Tunisia, Turkey and France, manufacturers and distributors of motor water crafts, equipment, outfit and associated services participated in the trade show.

BUSINESS AND INTERACTIVE PROGRAM
Structured to aid ship owners and operators optimize the performance of their fleets, Moscow Boat Show became again an important meeting place for the industry professionals which brought together representatives from all sectors. It created a forum where buyers and sellers could gather under one roof to conduct business and improve industry knowledge, to build and promote a certain image in order to facilitate future agreements.
Albert Nazarov, a naval architect and marine engineer, told at his seminar about design of small water crafts, and Ilia Bushtukhin, a naval lawyer and yachting captain, told about yachting manager functions and his role in a yacht management and handling.
Among new speakers of the business program was Panshin V.G., a representative of the Institute for Innovation in Shipbuilding and Ship Repair FGBOU VO Volga State University of Water Transport, who held a seminar on small vessels and infrastructure as part of the development of inland waterways.
A seminar was held by Mikhail Savelyev, Development Director of the Russian Yacht Center, General Manager of Russian Sailing Week Volvo, and Sports Director of Russian Business Regattas. Mikhail Savelyev organized more than 65 regattas in various parts of the world during the period from 2007 to 2019; he had sailed more than 25,000 miles. Online presentation of a free course in the theory of sailing yacht handling and navigation was presented on YouTube.
Tarpon magazine invited everyone to listen to the story of the St. Petersburg yachtsman, editor of the publication Sergey Afonin about Sailing Single-handed across the Atlantic. The expert told during the meeting about two transatlantic sailing single-handed on the Loppan yacht in 2020. The press conference was of high interest with the audience.
A dense family oriented interactive program was held during all days of the show in a specially equipped pool located directly in the exhibition hall. The Moscow Boat Show visitors traditionally enjoyed a number of entertainment events on the water this year including short water races, optimist test drives, zorb riding on the water surface, radio-controlled yacht racing and much more. Experienced trainers instructed on kayaking and canoeing within the frames of the exhibition. Visitors enjoyed watching shows on SUP boards, windsurfing training courses and much more.
Moscow Boat Show presented the aspects of the yachting segment, demonstrated modern samples of water motor equipment and the latest design developments, acquainted guests with activity of yachting schools and the calendar of sea regattas, submitted offers on sea and river cruises and also on opportunities of training in water sports. Moscow Boat Show is the event intended for a wide audience which became very popular among yachting devotees. Experienced trainers will instruct on kayaking and canoeing within the frames of the exhibition. Visitors will enjoy watching shows on SUP boards, windsurfing training courses and much more.
The Indestructible Optimist team will hold a master class for kids and teenagers from 7 and up to 15 years old on a boat model especially developed for beginners. Everyone will have a unique opportunity to test this model of boat right at the show in a specially equipped pool. The Indestructible Optimist model is a small, single-handed sailing dinghy intended for use by beginning sportsmen for whom accidental collisions with a berth, boat trainer or yachts of teammates during training are common. The hull of the yacht is practically indestructible, and small injuries that can be sustained after very severe blows do not need to be repaired - there is no concept of osmosis.
SUP-club organizes traditional test drive of boards right on the show site in the open pool. The professional instructor tells about safety measures and paddling technique. During test drives no additional or special clothing is required due to small depth of the pool.

At Moscow Boat Show 2020, for the first time in Russia, West Nautical presented Fairline F-Line 33 a beautifully sculptured day boat, the first model in F-line family. Its worldwide debut had taken place in September 2019 at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
GALEON 400 FLY, the fourth-generation yacht family, one of the smallest models to offer the innovative beach mode, the highest tier of manoeuvrability and stability while on the waves, became the highlight of Smart Yachts stand.
Fishleader presented in Russia Anytec A27C, a powerboat of a new model combining elegant design, unparalleled comfort and fantastic performance.
National producer, Forward company, displayed their novelty ISLAND BOAT trailer pontoon, transformer developed in cooperation with Bogema Auto. This flattish boat relies on floats to remain buoyant, designed for active leisure, hunting and fishing. It contains a lot of reserve buoyancy and allow designers to create massive deck plans fitted with all sorts of accommodations.
Webasto Rus company, the Russian subsidiary of Webasto Group, actively expands its positions at the dynamically developing market of Russia. In particular the company is a loyal participant of profile exhibitions. Webasto Rus displayed a range of vessel liquid and air autonomous heaters, autonomous air conditioners and sliding panels specially designed for vessels, and a number of novelties.
HARMAN demonstrated a new marine JBL series: acoustic systems, subwoofers, amplifiers and other equipment for installation and use on a ship or in any open vehicle.
NEW SECTION OF THE SHOW FISHING
In 2020 the Moscow Boat Show was supplemented by innovations of the fishing industry and goods of tourist purpose. The visitors had an opportunity to test gear, bait, outfit and get recommendations of authoritative specialists on peculiarities of application of different types of equipment, fishing techniques and other professional lifehacks for fishing. Ultron, Megatex NPP, J.B.Wobbler, GetWood, Wooxa, Lamzak Drim and other companies were among exhibitors of the new section.

National producers have been actively entering the water transport market for more than a year and represent decent, competitive products. Moscow Boat Show provides Russian companies with a unique chance to draw attention to their products. This year among them were Slider, Berkut-Marine, ENIGMA shipyard, SPEV Company, ASCLAS Production Company, Northern Shipbuilding Company and many others.
For example Lodka Market displayed Gladiator Russian brand boats, a manufacturer of boats and boat motors made of high quality materials at own plant Weihai BS Marine Co. Ltd. (Weihai, PRC).
Gladiator displayed SUP boards. The company closely monitors advanced technologies that help make its production better modern materials and quality control allow making SUP boards of excellent quality, which are gaining popularity in rental where operating conditions are the toughest.
GS-SPORT GROUP displayed a wide range of goods for jet-surfing, windsurfing, kiting, wakeboarding and water skis, SUP surfing and active recreation on water. The range of products includes snowboard and ski clothing, urban winter clothes, thermal underwear, protection, gloves, accessories, equipment for snowkiting, snowboards. YACHTING CHARTER AS A NEW KIND OF TOURISM
A special promo zone for charter operators providing services in different countries of the world was organized within the frames of the Moscow Boat Show 2020. Anyone had an opportunity to choose ones own direction and go on a fascinating trip through the water spaces with the help of specialists from Egocharter, NausYs, Stadler Yachting, Nomicos Yachts and others.
West Istanbul Marina that welcomes yachts of all shapes and sizes was among exhibitors as well. It is not only a mooring place but also a comfortable place for pleasant leisure, a huge complex providing services of beach/yacht/sailing&water sports club, hotel, fitness&spa, restaurants and boutiques.

A number of master classes with participation of famous yachtsmen, coaches and branch organizations representatives was held March 5 on the opening day of the exhibition.
Round table talks of the Russian Yachting Federation (VFPS), an open questions-and-answers session and a round table of the All-Russian Sailing Federation (VFPS) Key aspects and prospects for the development of import substitution in the sailing industry were held the same day.
Vladimir Markin, Deputy Director on Investments and FGBU Development, told about best practices of on-water projects and priority investment projects in the Moscow Canal basin.
Military historical club SOM (Naval Sailors Combined Detachment) arranged a special exposition devoted to the II World War: the uniform and equipment of naval sailors of that period, models of weapons and historical exhibits brought from expeditions to battlefields. Club members told about War events as well as about our days reconstructions and interactive platforms, which have been held in Russia and abroad. The visitors had an opportunity to try on the uniform and take pictures with historical weapons.
Albert Nazarov, member of Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), fellow of Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), a Chartered Engineer (UK), a member of Associations of Designers of Russia (ADR) and Director of Albatross Marine Design, told about the design of small water crafts aiming to develop functional outcomes that work within a pleasing appearance.
A round table talks with participation of the State Inspectorate for Small Size Vessels (GIMS) and the Ministry of Emergency Situations members Issues of Preparation for Navigation 2020, were also held within the frames of the business program.
The Moscow Boat Show visitors traditionally enjoyed a number of entertainment events on the water family fun is always an important part of the project.
Attractions such as short water races, races on radio-controlled yachts, training courses for children from Moscow children's sports schools were held during all days of the show, from March 5 to March 9, in the specially equipped pool. A yacht quest with prizes and surprises was organized for family teams with children.
Moscow Boat Show promotes the involvement of young people in sailing activities, demonstrating the advantages of yachting and water sports and giving young visitors an opportunity to enroll in yachting schools.
Today Moscow Boat Show is the only indoor exhibition of yachting and related topics in Russia and one of the most successful industry projects every year the number of participants grows, the list of thematic sections increases. Forward company, other participant of the Moscow Boat Show, will display their novelty ISLAND BOAT trailer pontoon. A pontoon boat is a flattish boat that relies on floats to remain buoyant. These pontoons contain a lot of reserve buoyancy and allow designers to create massive deck plans fitted with all sorts of accommodations. The transformer has been developed by the Forward company in cooperation with Bogema Auto.
Webasto Rus, the Russian subsidiary of Webasto Group, actively expands its positions at the dynamically developing market of Russia. In particular the company is a loyal participant of profile exhibitions. Webasto Rus will display a range of vessel liquid and air autonomous heaters, and also autonomous air conditioners and sliding panels specially designed for vessels, including a number of novelties.

March 5, on the opening day of the show, a number of master classes Talks about Yachting: How to start sailing? What are training programs? with participation of members of the Yachting Federation of the Moscow region presidium, famous yachtsmen and coaches will be held.

Military historical club SOM (Naval Sailors Combined Detachment) will arrange a special exposition devoted to the II World War (the Great Patriotic War in Russia): the uniform and equipment of naval sailors of the IIWW period, models of weapons and historical exhibits brought from expeditions to battlefields. Club members will tell about War events, as well as about our days events reconstructions and interactive platforms which are being held in Russia and abroad. The visitors will be able to try on the naval sailors uniform and take pictures with historical weapons.
Albert Nazarov, member of Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), fellow of Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), a Chartered Engineer (UK), a member of Associations of Designers of Russia (ADR) and Albatross Marine Design Director, will tell about the functional design of small water crafts where designing is an art aiming to develop functional outcomes that work within a pleasing appearance.
On March 8 will be held round table talks with participation of the State Inspectorate for Small Size Vessels (GIMS) and the Ministry of Emergency Situations representatives Issues of Preparation for Navigation 2020.
March 9, the Yachting Federation of the Moscow region will present the Maritime Art Club projects.

The 12th International exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show, one of the most significant events for the yachting business professionals, a platform for presentation of new branch developments and a meeting place for business and professional communication, was held March 6 through 10, 2019 in Crocus Expo.
The exhibition traditionally took place at the beginning of March, having given start to a new season of yachts, boats and other types of the water crafts sales. The Ultraboats company, which primary activity is sale of motorboats and yachts in the Russian market, brought to Crocus Expo Azimut Flybridge 55 – yacht impressing by a combination of graceful beauty and impressive technical characteristics.
Smart Yachts, the exclusive distributor of Galeon Polish brand in Russia, produced quite an impression with the innovative Galeon 500 FLY model.
From foreign shipyards and up to SUP board
West Istanbul Marina – not only a first-rate landing stage but also a comfortable place for pleasant leisure – presented its services at the Moscow Boat Show. The company provides all kinds of professional technical maintenance, repair and refit services. It is also a huge complex including boutiques, yacht club, hotel, fitness&spa, sport facilities and restaurants.
Dream Yacht Charter, the world’s largest charter operator, was presented at the exhibition as well. Its customers can book bareboat, crewed or by the cabin charters in some of the world’s most beautiful cruising grounds, such as the Grenadines, Croatia, Ionian islands, Tahiti and the Maldives. The company has also developed new sailing areas, such as New Caledonia and Cuba.

GS-SPORT GROUP, JET SURF official dealer in Russia, displayed a wide range of goods for jet-surfing, windsurfing, kiting, wakeboarding and water skis, SUP surfing and active recreation on water at the fairgrounds. The company is also engaged in the retail sale of clothing and equipment for extreme sports, has a dealer network (offering goods for wholesale), and own service centre.
Annual participant of the Moscow Boat Show, SUP-club, a club of SUP-surfing fans, presented a new collection of boards, paddles and other SUP novelties of the 2019 season including a family of dry diving suits and creative SUPface T-shirts. And organized a real test drive of pedal driven paddle boards right in the exhibition hall – in an open pool!

Day of Dialogue with Yachtsmen was for the first time organized within the show. The events provided an opportunity to know about current issues related to yachting rules and regulations. Moscow Boat Show, the largest in Russia international exhibition of boats and yachts, was held March 7 through 11, 2018 in Crocus Expo on the eve of the opening of the yachting season.

Besides Nord Star Yachting displayed XO DFNDR – a boat for the adventurous minds, for outdoor activities or as a commuter to an island.
For many foreign producers and distributors Moscow Boat Show opened new entry into the Russian market: more and more companies from Turkey and Poland participate in the exhibition, having appreciated its prospects.
Participation in the project became a unique opportunity to present a company and products to a distinctly selected targeted audience of specialists and devotees. Business representatives were well prepared to discuss business in the Russian market and to close a deal on-sight.
Moscow Boat Show traditionally became a communication platform for sea travelers: Janmor Yachts Russia team project helped to find new participants or passengers for a travel.
Events platform
Members of the Union of Designers and Architects held a number of seminars devoted to tendencies in the interior design of yachts within the business program of the Moscow Boat Show 2018.
Moscow Boat Show supports annually new comparatively young kinds of sport. This year stand up paddle surfing and stand up paddle boarding (SUP) was introduced to the show attendees. All willing, including the smallest visitors, had an opportunity to try their skills on special boards of various configuration during various master classes and test drives initiated and organized by the Russian SUP club held in a specially facilitated pool.
Besides there were events held within the frames of the exhibition which contributed to the promotion of public awareness of water sports and to attraction of new students to yachting schools and new participants to amateur competitions.
For the first time in the history of the project a studio of one of information partners – Yacht Radio – was on air right on-site. Moscow Boat Show participants and guests told about their activity and communicated with colleagues.
Experts and attendees participated in the TV shoot of the program Dialogues at Boat Show organized by the participant and information partner of Moscow Boat Show, a Russian TV channel about water spaces, OCEAN-TV.
Besides Moscow Boat Show became again a discussion platform of the Moscow region Sailing Federation (FPS MO). Plenary session About Current Status and Development of Sailing Sports in the Moscow region, Membership in Clubs was held within the frames of the project’s business program.
The business program covered also issues related to state regulation in the sphere of use of water resources in Russia. Representatives of official bodies, branch associations and unions came to know about the latest news in the sphere of water transport legislation. In particular, Gennady Chizhov, Director of Regional Association of Yacht-clubs and Owners of Small Size Vessels NP, told about changes of a payment rate for use of property objects.
Amayak Nunikyan, Deputy Head of the department of the State Inspectorate for Small Size Vessels (GIMS) of the Ministry of emergency situations, told about the draft of amendments to the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union About Safety of Small Size Vessels submitted GIMS EMERCOM of Russia in December 2017.
Representatives of participating companies noted that the number of visitors increased in 2018. So, despite everything, the yacht branch in Russia continues to develop! The exhibition in no small measure promoted commercial success of exhibitors who emphasized that the current economic situation hadn’t produced a critical negative effect in the industry. Many also expressed confidence that they would have acceptable revenue during the season.

Moscow Boat Show, the largest in Russia international exhibitions of boats and yachts, will be held March 7 through 11, 2018 in Crocus Expo.
The project unites all representatives of yachting business, fans of water motor crafts and devotees of active outings on water spaces.
The Moscow Boat Show project in the course of 10 years has gained the status of a significant event for the branch having become an annual platform for business meetings, constructive communication, conclusion of mutually advantageous contracts, exchange of experience and acquaintance with the latest developments. According to the statistics more than 20 000 visitors annually come to the event.
More than 250 companies from around the world will take part in the Moscow Boat Show 2018: from Austria, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, China, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Turkey, Finland, France and Sweden. National developments will be displayed by producers and distributors from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Izhevsk, Kazan, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saratov, Sevastopol, Yaroslavl and other cities of Russia.
The visitors will have an opportunity to get acquainted with crafts, equipment and related services from top players of the market: Ultraboats, Prestige Yachts, SMART YACHTS, Super Marine, Beneteau, Kata-Lagun, Velvette Marine, Bavaria Yachts, Boat House, M-Power Group and other companies.
For many foreign producers and distributors Moscow Boat Show opens new entry into the Russian market: more and more companies from Turkey and Poland participate in the exhibition, having appreciated its prospects.
Turkish yacht marinas are traditionally successful with Russian travelers. Moscow Boat Show guests will have an opportunity to communicate with representatives of the largest ports and marinas of this country: West Istanbul Marina – a yacht complex with well-planned infrastructure on the coast of the Sea of Marmara (Istanbul) and Marmaris Yacht Marina – the biggest marina with parking capacity at sea 750 yachts, at ground 1000 yachts (Marmaris).
Sportis S.A., a manufacturer of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) boats from Poland, will bring to the show pleasure and professional RIB boats. It offers models in the length from 3,10 m to 10,50 m.
Several segments of the yachting branch will be for the first time presented at separate sections of the exposition:
Besides Moscow Boat Show will become again a discussion platform of the Moscow region Sailing Federation (FPS MO). Plenary session About Current Status and Development of Sailing Sports in the Moscow region, Membership in Clubs will be held within the frames of the project’s business program.
Members of the Union of Designers and Architects will hold a number of seminars devoted to tendencies in the interior design of yachts within the business program of the Moscow Boat Show 2018.
Within the frames of the project there are also events which contribute to the promotion of public awareness of water sports and to attraction of new students to yachting schools and new participants to amateur competitions.
The exhibition presents the aspects of the yachting segment, demonstrates modern samples of water motor equipment and the latest design developments, acquaints guests with activity of yachting schools and the calendar of sea regattas, submits offers on sea and river cruises and also on opportunities of training in water sports. It is the event intended for a wide audience which became very popular among yachting devotees.

10th exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show
Moscow Boat Show, the largest Russian exhibition of the yachting branch, for the tenth time already incorporated the most impressive representatives of the yachting world, branch specialists, professional sportsmen and fans of this spectacular sport March 8 through 11, 2017 in Crocus Expo. More than 15 000 attendees experts and professionals of the branch, fans of motor water crafts and mass media representatives visited the show!
Moscow Boat Show has gained the status of a genially significant event for the industry, having become an annual platform for business meetings, constructive communication, conclusion of mutually profitable contracts, exchange of experience and acquaintance with the latest developments.
More than 200 companies from Russia and foreign countries (Austria, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Norway, China, Poland, Finland, France, Sweden and other) displayed a wide range of vessels, water crafts, equipment, components and accessories for comfortable outing on water open spaces. Participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Izhevsk, Novosibirsk, Sevastopol, Samara, Yaroslavl, Saratov, Rostov-on-Don, Kaluga, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and other cities of Russia presented national developments.
The professionals of the yachting industry and fans of motor water crafts had an opportunity to attend various events within the frames of the show business program, which had been comprised to ensure maximum convenience at planning of time and thematic segmentation during the visit to Crocus Expo.
Moscow Boat Show tight program of exhibition-related events traditionally provided an opportunity to visit different conferences, workshops and lectures, aimed at presenting market participants to each other in the format of live communication, sharing actual information about novelties and trends of the industry, discussing perspectives of development. It is enabled to obtain comprehensive information on how to organize efficient and profitable business within your company in line with all the requirements of modern economy.
A number of lectures held by the Union of Designers and Architects took place March 10, 2017 within the frames of the business program. Yacht Interior Decoration (renovate, for own use, for events, for rent and for sale), Yacht Interior in James Bond Style, Design and Manufacture Peculiarities of Custom Made Yacht Furniture and other topics were covered. Kirill Kokharchuk, author of unique, private researches in the field of design and architecture, provided review, councils and recipes during his lecture What Can Your Yacht Be Like?!
Various events for sailing sport fans were held daily in the specially equipped pool. The program featured show performances of young racers, races on short water, yacht test drives for beginners and many other things! For this purpose a specially equipped pool of 17271,5 m in size had been installed at the VFPS Committee of Mass, Amateur and Student Sport stand. Sailing yachts of national and Olympic classes, children's sports schools and training centers, national manufacturers of yachts, clothing and equipment were also presented at the fairground.
And of course all attendees traditionally enjoyed the daily show program with various performances.
Igor Zaretskiys press conference was held within the frames of the Moscow Boat Show. Igor Zaretskiy today is the only representative of Russia applied for participation in GoldenGlobe 2018/19 round the world solo sailing race. To celebrate Sir Robin Knox-Johnstons historic 1968/9 world first solo non-stop circumnavigation in the Sunday Times Golden Globe Yacht Race, a new Golden Globe Race will be staged to mark the 50th Anniversary of that epic, starting from Falmouth on 16 June, 2018.
