18th International exhibition of boats and yachts
Moscow Boat Show
February 27 – March 2, 2025 /
25 February 2020
The Indestructible Optimist, a boat model especially developed for beginners, will be displayed within the frames of the Moscow Boat Show held March 5 through 9, 2020. Do not miss the opportunity of the test drive!
Everyone will have a unique opportunity to test this model of boat right at the show in a specially equipped pool.
The Indestructible Optimist model is a small, single-handed sailing dinghy intended for use by beginning sportsmen for whom accidental collisions with a berth, boat trainer or yachts of teammates during training are common. The hull of the yacht is practically indestructible, and small injuries that can be sustained after very severe blows do not need to be repaired - there is no concept of osmosis.
Testing and performance tests of the model made according to Safety Boats technology were carried out by trainers' staff and students of the School of Olympic Reserve of the Russian Federation on sailing in the Optimist class. The boat was approved and now is actively used for initial training of young sportsmen, serial production is established.
The presentation of the serial boat took place at the National Sailing competition of Russia 2019.
The dinghy gained approval of the Russian Yachting Federation (VFPS) at the All-Russian Seminar of Sailing Specialists in February 2020.
See you at the show!
