The awarding ceremony for the winners of the photoregatta Yachts! Sea! Enjoyment!

“A man needs freedom and the sea grants it”

Told Nikas Safronov, a prominent painter, during the Awarding Ceremony for the winners of the photoregatta Yachts! Sea! Enjoyment! The Awarding Ceremony was held at the Crocus Expo IEC within the frames of the exhibition Moscow Boat Show.

On-line contest Yachts! Sea! Enjoyment! had been initiated and organized by the International Exhibition Centre Crocus Expo in cooperation with the agency Yacht-club Zelenyi Ostrov (Green Island). Selective rounds had been held from November 26, 2007 till January 31, 2008. According to the organizers photographers from different countries participated in the contest. During a short period professionals and amateur photographers forwarded more than 2500 photo masterpieces.

Winners of the competition were defined by an authoritative jury: artist Nikas Safronov, the presenter of the show Chto-to horoshee (Something good) of the radio station Serebriany Dozhd' (Silver rain) Alex Dubas, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Kapitan Klub (Captain-club) Zary Chernjak, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Yahtenny Mir (Yachting world) Alexander Zheleznjak, the director of the portal AllYachts. Ru Andrey Amelin, the director of the portal YachtsWorld.ru Alexey Kizilov, the author of the project Fotoalbom.su Serguey Kartintsev, the editor-in-chief of the portal Prophotos.ru Marina Lihacheva, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Cigar Cla Natalia Ryzhkova, the representative of the magazine Strong Man Andrey Vasilev, the representative of the company Imperia Bogacho (Bogacho Empire) Valentine Smirnova.

The artist Nikas Safronov, the Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC Boris Rylkin, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Akvatoria Krasivoy Zhizni (Water area of a beautiful life) Andrey Radzievsky, the presenter of the radio station Serebriany Dozhd' (Silver rain) Alex Dubas, and the editor-in-chief of the magazine Kapitan Klub (Captain-club) Zary Chernjak participated in the Awarding Ceremony for the winners.

The best photographers-marine painters have been revealed in nominations: the best yachting photographer, the best photographer in yachting, the best extreme-photographer, the best photographer-marine painter of the year, the best glamour photographer in yachting.

The Grand prix and the title The Best Yachting Photographer-2007 went to Lubov' Kotlyar Kiev. Other prize-winners were granted gifts and presents from the organizers and partners of the competition.

Boris Rylkin, the Deputy Director Crocus expo IEC told that "the competition is one of the highlights of the exhibition Moscow Boat Show-2008 not only for the exhibitors of the photoregatta, but also for all visitors of the Crocus Expo". On behalf of the President of ZAO CROCUS INTERNATIONAL Aras Agalarov the agency Yacht-club Zelenyi Ostrov (Green Island) was granted the honourable diploma for active participation in preparation and holding of the First International Exhibition of yachts and boats Moscow Boat Show.
