Third International exhibition of boats and yachts
MOSCOW BOAT SHOW

February 20 through 28, 2010

The Third exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show one of the most significant events for yachting business professionals and active leisure fans will be held February 20 through 28, 2010 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association.

The third edition of the exhibition Moscow Boat Show will again impress visitors with its scale. The third pavilion of the Crocus Expo perfectly fits any profile show event to exhibit large-size and heavy-duty items and boats and yachts are undoubtedly relevant to such items.

The exhibition timing is well reasoned. The show will take place in February in low season. According to the market players winter is a perfect period for companies’ results summarizing, prospects defining and business negotiations with colleagues and dealers holding. Exhibition hall 15 will become a genuine “landing pier” of the latest novelties and developments of yachting industry.

With each edition Moscow Boat Show gains its popularity at yachting fans and segment specialists. The overall exhibit space will comprise 18 000 sq m in 2010. 15 regions of the Russian Federation (Arkhangelsk, Vladivostok, Vyborg, Kazan, Kaluga, Moscow and Moscow Region, Nizhni Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Republic Kareliya, Samara, St.-Petersburg, Sverdlovsk area, Sevastopol and Yaroslavl region) and 10 countries (Germany, Holland, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Russia, the USA and Finland) will participate in the project. And such widely known brands as Bavaria Yachts, Burevestnik, Burevestnik Group, NT Marine, Royal Marine, Admiral Group, East Baltic Marine Group, Neptun-Marine, Expert Marine, Volvo East, Ultra Marine, Silver, Prestige Yachts and many other famous brands are among them.

Visitors from various parts of Russia and abroad will have an opportunity to admire luxurious exhibits of the show for the whole nine days!

The expanded floor space of the Moscow Boat Show is organized into thematic sections according to market segmentation corresponding world practice of similar events holding:

• sailing and motor yachts;
• yacht charting;
• inflatable and row boats;
• design, building and repair of small water crafts;
• hydrocycles and other motor vehicles;
• engines;
• navigation equipment;
• equipment, materials and components for speed boats and yachts;
• moorings and pontons;
• delivery and transportation devices;
• yacht-clubs and waterfront settlements;
• vessels insurance;
• specialized mass media.

In spite of the fact that Moscow Boat Show of itself is a commercially successful project, the efforts of the organizers are directed on progressive development of the branch as a whole.

It’ll be a meeting place for importers, dealers, distributors and manufacturers from the sector of small navigation. Incorporation of quite a number of experts in the same place and at the same time will allow allocating yachting business common problems and possible ways of their solution within the frames of exhibition related business events. The leading players of the market and representatives of the supervising organizations will take part in the calendar of events.

The exhibition format Moscow Bout Show assumes quite a number of events, including a sated contest program which provides rewarding of participants by memorable prizes:
- Olympiad Yachting Captain - open championship for yachting schools’ students and nonprofessional.
- My Summer Holidays 2009 – review (stories/films/slide shows) of sailing training course or the first independent sailing in the open sea of pupils and graduates of profile high schools and awarding ceremony.
- Presentation of the most significant campaigns and travels organized by the National Skippers Association in 2010: a campaign to Cape Horn, round-the-world expedition. 2009 annual report.

The All-Russian Federation of Sailing Sport will hold an Awarding Ceremony for the winners of the Kiteboarding World Championship February 20, 2010 in the lobby of the third pavilion of the fairgrounds. Dmitry Zelenin, Governor of the Tver region, will be the Chairman of the event supervisory council.

During all working days of the exhibition the Federal State Organization Rossiysky Rechnoy Reguistr (Russian River Register) and the State Small Vessels Inspection of the Central Administrative Board of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Russia of the Moscow city will hold consultations and advisory for the proprietors of yachts and boats on issues related to certification and safety of operation of vessels and vessel products.

The Press Conference for journalists on the official opening of the exhibition Moscow Boat Show will be held February 20, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. (Crocus Expo IEC, Pavilion 3, Top level, Conference hall 20). The Official Opening Ceremony of the event will be held in the lobby of Exhibition hall 15 after the Press Conference.
