The Third exhibition of boats and yachts Moscow Boat Show was held February 20 through 28, 2010 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association, non-commercial organization uniting Russian manufacturers, importers, dealers and distributors of boats, speed boats and yachts.

To cap it all Aston Martin Moscow, Official dealer of the legendary Aston Martin factory (Great Britain), became the partner of one of the largest in Russia yachting industry shows – Moscow Boat Show. Aston Martin is a brand that doesn’t need any introduction! Moscow Boat Show guests had an opportunity to see the most popular models right on site in the lobby of hall 15 of the third pavilion Crocus Expo IEC where the latest Aston Martin models of the famous manufacturer are presented.

With each edition Moscow Boat Show gains its popularity at yachting fans and segment specialists. The overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m in 2010. 17 regions of the Russian Federation (Arkhangelsk, Vladivostok, Vyborg, Kazan, Kaluga, Moscow and Moscow Region, Nizhni Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Republic Kareliya, Samara, St.-Petersburg, Sverdlovsk area, Sevastopol and Yaroslavl region) and 10 countries (Germany, Holland, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Russia, the USA and Finland) participated in the project.

And such widely known brands as Bavaria Yachts, Burevestnik, Burevestnik Group, NT Marine, Royal Marine, Admiral Group, East Baltic Marine Group, Neptun-Marine, Expert Marine, Volvo East, Ultra Marine, Silver, Prestige Yachts and many other famous brands were among the exhibitors of Moscow Boat Show.

Visitors from various parts of Russia and abroad had an opportunity to admire luxurious exhibits of the show for the whole nine days!

The conference 5 years of the Russian Yachting Association. Yachts booking worldwide. Yachting in the Russian way. Cruises, rally, regattas 2010. New courses and trainings on-line were held during the exhibition period. All willing were given another opportunity to run away with imagination and define a future tour routing.

The All-Russian Federation of Sailing Sport held an Awarding Ceremony for the winners of the Kiteboarding World Championship within the frames of the Official Opening Ceremony of the exhibition Moscow Boat Show February 20, 2010 in the lobby of the third pavilion of the fairgrounds. Piotr Tjushkevich, Kiteboarding World Championship winner and Russian juniors who had won two licenses for the First Junior Olympic Games 2010 which will be held in Singapore, were granted prizes at the opening ceremony.

A working session of All-Russian Federation of Sailing Sport (VFPS) on which there were representatives of sailing community from all regions of Russia from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad was held February 20, 2010, within the frames of the exhibition. Issues related to preparation of national teams of Russia, training and certification of yachting helmsmen, financial report, regulations related to supervisory board activity and many other issues were considered at the session.

Despite sincere interest of numerous admirers of aquatics the exhibition Moscow Boat Show is also a full-fledged complex business project. 90 % of exhibitors left their positive feedback about the project in which frameworks a considerable quantity of contracts on delivery of equipment, sailing yachts and boats has been concluded. The majority of companies have already submitted space applications for the next year edition.

Moscow Boat Show helps representatives of yachting business to get acquainted with their Russian colleagues and to lead out national yachting market on a new level. It is obvious that during three years the project has turned to a status event of the international exhibition calendar.
